This is a Brazilian pepper rescue bowl. I called the rescue bowl because originally it didn’t have enough meat to turn a circle but by wedding and clamping it I got it back to where I could turn it - a lot of sanding on one of these.

I have eight 16” maple bowl blanks to process into rounds and then core. Ironically I have a customer who does not want one the six finished walnut bowls I have ready but will wait until May for these to be ready to final-turn! If you want one, now is the time to reserve one. They will retail for about $350-400 each once ready. You will be consulted on shaper, base style, edge trim and finish so the bowl matches what you wa t. And they can be custom monogrammed for a gift life a wedding next summer.
