On behalf of our volunteering mentors, Metisphere - Organisational Psychology is pleased to offer two scholarship places in the inaugural cohort of the Executive Women in Resources Leadership Mentoring Program.

Mentors were invited to participate in the selection of the scholarship winners. Congratulations Sally Rayner (GAICD) (Executive General Manager, Organisational Readiness) based in Brisbane.

Sally is a senior leader with extensive experience in shaping and executing transformative business strategies that drive HSE excellence, operational resilience and sustainable performance. Her background includes leading mega projects and overseeing enterprise risk, governance, and assurance with a strategic focus on creating robust, high-performing teams and systems.
We thank our mentors for their commitment to supporting the growth and success of participants and the program. Waitlist for 2026 cohort will be opening soon - stay tuned.

In 2024, over 150 leaders participated in our Thriving Leaders in Action program, ranging from supervisor to senior leadership level. Evaluation data demonstrated significant behaviour change as a result of the program.

Desired behaviours such as leadership authenticity, feelings of inclusivity, increased change resiliency, psychological safety in difficult conversations, and more were being displayed 90% of the time.

Meet one of the Executive Women in Resources Leadership Mentoring Program Mentors: Greg Hawkins

Greg is the Chief Financial Officer of Roy Hill and brings over 30 years of financial and operational expertise in the resources sector. His international career spans across Australia, the UK, Papua New Guinea, and Eastern Africa.

Before joining Roy Hill in 2016, Greg served as Executive Director, Finance for Emeco Group, and was President and CEO of African Barrick Gold plc., listed on the London Stock Exchange. He also held senior leadership roles at Barrick Gold Corporation.

Metisphere is honoured to have Greg as a mentor in the 2025 Executive Women in Resources Leadership Mentoring Program. With his deep industry insights and commitment to fostering leadership growth, Greg will be an invaluable guide for the next generation of female c-suite leaders.
