As the team bows out for another year for our own little piece of R&R, we reflect on an extremely busy and productive 2025 we've had on the research and education front.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and interest in all things sleep and look forward to what 2026 brings with new opportunities, continuing education and ongoing collaborations.

As we head into the holiday season, many of us have the opportunity to have a good daytime nap, especially during those festive weeks when our routines are more relaxed and less scheduled.
Daytime napping in healthy adults can be an effective way to recharge when we've had a shorter night's sleep than usual. Effective napping can boost, energy, alertness, concentration and mood.
As cosy as a holiday nap can be however, it's important to be mindful of the right and wrong ways to nap, since napping at the wrong time can actually disrupt our nighttime sleep.
Here we outline a few DO's and DON'Ts for effective nap-taking this season.
