Not one.
No rest days. No recovery days. No “I’ll get back to it tomorrow.”
Every single day for 1,000 days I moved my body. Minimum 30 minutes. No exceptions.
Some days that looked like a full gym session.
Some days it was a walk in a thunderstorm.
Some days it was abs on a hotel room floor at midnight.
Some days it was push ups between flights in an airport terminal whatever country I happened to be in that day.
Some days I stepped off a 14 hour flight and still got it done.
That was the rule from day one. 30 minutes minimum. Every day. No matter what.
And here’s what I figured out along the way:
It’s not willpower that carries you to 1,000 days.
Willpower runs out.
What carries you is repetition. Until your brain stops treating it as a choice. It just becomes who you are.
Think of a river.
During a drought it might slow to a trickle but it never stops.
The moment it stops flowing, it’s not a river anymore. It’s just a memory of where the water used to be.
Your consistency works the same way.
The moment you create a gap you’re not someone on a streak…
You’re someone who used to be.
So I never stopped. Not once.
The habit took over. The momentum built. And once that kicked in honestly nothing could stop me.
People see 1,000 days and think it sounds impossible.
It’s not.
It’s just 30 minutes minimum every day.
Until one day you realise you wouldn’t even know how to stop.
They’ll ask how you do it.
The answer is simple….
You just never stop.
