I wrote a love letter to myself…

I fell in love with life the moment I decided to choose me.
I’ve experienced more bliss, friendships, beautiful beginnings, connections, nature… you name it,
the moment I set myself free.
You see I was only trapped because I believed that, that life was the best that I could ever be.
Atleast that’s what was ever told to me.

It wasn’t until I had enough.
Packed my stuff and chose the road I knew would be tough.
But through it all I’d be surrounded by love wrapping my inner me in a warm hug.
I found my inner peace.

Because at the end of the day it’s me vs me before I close my eyes to sleep.
So do I dare to keep living a nightmare
Or do I dare to live the life I dream?
So If it ain’t a yes, it’s a no because I ain’t looking for a maybe!

It’s beautiful how art can become a butterfly effect and you’d never even know it if you didn’t look at the picture as a whole.
