The kids are the heroes.....its the least we could do for these young people going through tough times and facing challenges that no-one should go through at their age.

At Perth Children’s Hospital, there's a special space tucked just off Ward 1A, a dedicated teen room created for young people going through treatment for childhood cancer and blood disorders.

A very special space founded in memory of Johanna Sewell, funded by the Johanna Sewell Memorial Fund.

It’s a unique place for teens to find connection, a little much needed respite, and find a tiny slice of 'normal' during a really hard time.

This week, the room got a little upgrade… thanks to the kindness of The Pool Table Man, who so generously donated brand new pool cues, pool balls, and other equipment to bring some fresh life to the pool table that gets so much love from the teens who use it....and some much needed smiles.

We are incredibly grateful for this thoughtful donation, it's small things like this that make a big difference to young people facing long hospital stays and tough days.
