This week at Mullaloo Tall Tree, we have been marking the beginning of NAIDOC Week with our little people by exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives through meaningful, hands-on inquiry-based learning. 🤲

Across our care rooms, our environments and planned learning experiences have reflected this focus, creating opportunities for children to engage, discover, and learn with curiosity and respect. 🐨

Making our lunch! 🥪

Today, our Kwila children enjoyed making their own sandwiches and cutting their own fruit. During mealtimes, we have been focusing on developing self-help skills and encouraging independence. The children loved preparing their own food today, and because they made it themselves, they were especially excited to eat every bite!
