SO Founding Member, Marc Dimmick has been assisting Barry Sue, son of legendary Z Force Commander Jack Sue whose efforts during WWII and those of Z Force were the catalyst for the modern day SAS.
SO assisting the Sue family to recognise Jack with upcoming events in Queensland and WA through the SAS Community.

Sailing On joined Fremantle Sailing Club for their Winter Series on Saturday. Great day out, the first for The Avenue, and the first of many.

The Avenue, a 1985 S&S 36’ owned by Sailing On, sailed north from Fremantle Sailing Club on Monday, headed for the Abrolhos Islands.
The combination of safety concerns and a poor weather window kiboshed the adventure after three days of sailing and the Avenue has returned to Fremantle.
Whales, sharks and dolphins were sighted. Strong winds, night time storms and sea sickness were endured. Camaraderie amongst veterans was forged. The future of offshore sailing is looking bright.
