We’re seeking an experienced 1st Class Welder to join a leading engineering and fabrication company in Wangara, supporting projects across the mining, industrial, water, and mineral processing sectors.

✅ $44 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
✅ Stable, ongoing work with a reputable client
✅ Monday–Thursday: 6:30am–3:00pm
✅ Friday: 6:30am–12:40pm

Key Responsibilities include:
👉 Performing 6G welding, including groove welds on pipe in a fixed 45-degree position
👉 Welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials for high-pressure/high-temperature systems
👉 Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding symbols, WPS, and work instructions
👉 Preparing pipe joints, including beveling and fit-up
👉 Inspecting completed welds, identifying defects (porosity, undercut, etc.), and ensuring quality standards are met
