WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS 🫣

My girl Jess and I are so proud to announce we have been accepted for the spring sh*tbox rally!!! For those who don’t know what that is let me explain. Imagine this: two women, one sh*tbox car of value to $1500, driving from Alice Springs to the gold coast on unsealed and sealed roads…why are we doing this? We’re raising funds for the cancer council while having a bloody good adventure! We are currently looking for sponsorship from other businesses and in return you receive a sticker on the sh*tbox and your company on the sh*tbox rally website all which is completely tax deductible ❤️ obviously we would absolutely love all the support we can get for such an amazing cause! If you would like to donate but not sponsor that’s also completely fine feel free to click on the link below. If you would like to sponsor us feel free to dm me 😘

I’m baccccck. The past two years have been a bit of a roller coaster! In June of 2022 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and as you could imagine life took some adjusting but in any good story when there is a disaster there is also a come back story and like a phoenix I’m rising from the ashes bigger and some what better then before ❤️ in the past few months I’ve started to get back behind the camera again and slowly found my love for capturing moments again so keep your eye out for more of my content and if you can think of anybody that could use my services don’t hesitate to past my details along!

Such an amazing achievement raising just over 12k for melanoma WA. So proud of being apart of this ❤️

Never in a million years, when I hosted the first Daffodil Chef dinner back in 2018, did I imagine what it would become.

To me, it was just something that felt right and that I needed to do - an evening with beautiful food, tasty wine and great music, all while raising money for MIA melanomaWA. The perfect way of honouring my late husband, Steven Scriven, who passed away in 2014 at just 32.

With that said, I am so so excited and proud to announce the total raised this year…

$12 540!!!

That is the highest we have ever raised in one year, and by quite a bit!!

Thank you so so much to everyone that came or was a part of this evening! I would especially like to thank the following businesses who were a part of the evening, donating their time and resources towards our cause:

- Miles From Nowhere
- The Boatshed Restaurant
- My Sister's Shortbread
- Running Wild Photography
- Aesthete Creative
- Neon Cleo
- Cakes by Dark Cherry
- Rosie O Face Painters and Entertainers
- Bella a Fleur Designs and Gifts
- Lauren Pickering Art
- Pullman Bunker Bay Resort

And of course, I want to say thank you to Steve. This night is in memory of you. This night is in memory of everyone that we have lost to this horrible disease. So that one day we don’t have to say goodbye to someone’s parent, child, sibling, spouse or friend.

Until next year,

Maryce xx
