In 2024, we proudly brought STEM to life with 14 STEM School Incursions and 5 Techtrails Community Events – and we’re gearing up for even more in 2025! We are excited to be delivering across Primary Schools, High Schools and Regional/Remote Schools. 

🤔🤩 What does this mean??
We need more inspiring Role Models to talk about their career journeys, How they got to where they are, Why young girls should study STEM subjects, and, What do career's in your industry look like....
Our motto is "If you can see her, you can be her!" 💜

🏆 We are so happy to announce the WiTWA Tech [+] Award for the category: STEM Academia & Research!

Shining Star Winner - Dr Samantha Lodge

Sam is a senior lecturer, researcher and mentor for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She relocated from the UK to Perth in 2019 with her young family to help set up the Australian National Phenome Centre, Murdoch University. Sam’s research work has focused on the application of metabolic phenotyping (fingerprinting) to study inflammation and the subsequent long-term effects on health. In 2021, she discovered a new biomarker of inflammation now recognised throughout the world.
Her dedication to advancing scientific knowledge is evident with through her published works (32 publications) with numbers increasing year upon year, and as a researcher lying in the 99.98% percentile within her field.
In July 2024 she received the Women’s Health Research, Translation and Impact Network (WHRTN) Emerging Leaders Fellowship (ELF) Award 2024. This significant award includes a scholarship for the Monash University Women in Leadership Program and mentoring by WHRTN’s Chief Investigator and chair
