Theatre Jazz is where technique meets storytelling and performance! More than sharp lines and clean movement, this style focuses on character, musicality and intention with every combination telling a story.
Our weekly Theatre Jazz classes are ideal for adult dancers preparing for full-time Musical Theatre courses or looking to level up their MT Certificate training, bridging the gap between dance class and the stage.

Well, we've got good news: every dancer you admire was once someone nervously walking into their first class too.
At The Dance Workshop, our beginner classes are made for adults who are completely new to dance, returning to dance after years away or simply wanting a supportive place to move, groove and learn.
You don’t need dance experience to start a class or flexibility, confidence or even the ‘right’ dance clothes. But what you do need is comfy clothes to move in, curiosity and the willingness to try!
In each class, you’ll build foundations step by step, learn to move with the music, improve your strength and coordination and gain confidence… And the best part? We’re not expecting perfection whatsoever. Everyone is learning together and figuring it out one count at a time.
