DEVELOPMENT UPDATE | Two Rocks Village

The Two Rocks community came together yesterday to mark the opening of Woolworths.

The new 4,791m2 centre, located in the heart of Two Rocks, is the first shopping centre for the community. Two Rocks Village is anchored by a Woolworths supermarket and BWS, as we as a variety of specialty food and services including Jamaica Blue, Almalfi Pizza, Fresh Culture Barbershop, and a medical precinct, which are set to open in the coming months. Customers can also enjoy ample free parking with over 200 car spaces, as well as a vibrant playground and alfresco dining space.

The new village will not only cater for current residents, but for the significant expansion in population that is forecast for the area. The project created dozens of jobs during construction, and we continue to back local employment with over 120 retail, hospitality and customer service jobs supported by the new centre.

The celebrations will continue this Saturday with cooking demonstrations, kids activities and giveaways for the local community to enjoy.

RETAIL UPDATE | Try Local, Buy Local presented by Buy West Eat Best

Last month, we joined forces with Buy West Eat Best to help promote local Western Australian produce across our shopping centres. Throughout the month, customers could enjoy free kids activities and competitions, and pick up a free cookbook full of quick and easy meal inspiration.

Last Saturday we hosted a centre-wide celebration at Alexander Heights shopping centre, featuring live cooking demonstrations with chef Don Hancey, and tasty samples from local producers.

The activations connected our shoppers with with WA grown, farmed and fished food. The campaign focused on making local choices visible, accessible and practical.

RETAIL UPDATE | Tiny Travellers Bug Hotel

Bug guests have arrived across our retail Centres!

These summer holidays, customers at Alexander Heights Shopping Centre, Lakes Shopping Centre, Springs Shopping Centre and Parks Centre can check in to the Tiny Travellers Bug Hotel. Kids and families can explore the butterfly bungalow, honeycomb house, ladybird lounge and more, learning all about our backyard bug friends.

We’re pleased to announce the opening of Banh Mi XO at Alexander Heights, complementing our diverse mix of food retailers.

Banh Mi XO is a family-owned Vietnamese eatery serving fresh, flavourful food from breakfast through to dinner. They’re all about tasty bánh mì, salad bowls, rice paper rolls, Vietnamese iced coffee, and fresh juices all made with love and the freshest ingredients.
