Maylands Boat Ramp

When you let your kid do donuts 🍩 with your boat in front of the boat ramp.

1 boat did the rigging correctly.
2 decided to park next to each other on the ramp so no one could get passed to retrieve their boat.
It’s painful 😣

Is it time to renovate the boat ramp?

I’m constantly hearing “this ramp is f@$ked”, “the fenders are gone again”, “where are the markings for rigging”!!!

With low tide it’s almost impossible to get the boat out and in, and there are near misses all the time.

The City of Bayswater can get a grant from the state to extend, fix and renew the ramp, but it falls on death ears.

I think it’s time for a renewal.

Not too many on the jetty today. The wind is picking up here so that might have something to do with it.
But we do have onlookers who have parked in the rigging and derigging zone so keep an eye out
