Why is it important to quarantine your fish? - so as to easily observe for signs of disease and parasites to ensure you don't infect your other prized pets!
Internal parasites: during ttm we treat every fish with Hikari Prazipro (2 doses 4 days apart) to prophylactically treat for flukes and internal parasites.
However, if we notice a fish is showing visible signs of internal parasites, as pictured (white stringy poo) we will switch to a food based medicated soak utilising general cure, focus, and Epsom salts, this is fed for 2 weeks or until poo returns to brown ensures the fish is parasite free!
