In life you can look things either positively or negatively.
Glass half full or glass half empty.
When s**t goes down, you can play the victim or become an alchemist.
My serious eye condition has taught me so much about gratitude and to focus on what I do have, rather than what I don't.
The amount of times people have thrown around the word 'blind' in the context of my condition flaws me. But I understand human nature and how easy it is to simplify things when we're not full bottle.
I used to subscribe to the fearful narrative.
It's easy to lose hope when there is no cure (right now) and the medical system only focuses on clinical trials and medical advancements, not holistic health.
It's easy to cave to fear when someone anonymously tells the Department of Transport you shouldn't be driving.
It was easy to think - who would want me as their partner with such a limitation.
But it turns out having compromised vision has been one of my greatest gifts. It was the wake up call I needed.
It's forced me to stop being a workaholic. To stop pushing for 'success' and allowing abundance to flow.
It's forced me to workout, eat better and prioritise my health and well-being.
It's turned all my senses and intuition on its head. I have more clarity than ever before.
But most of it, it's made me realise that a change in mindset and focusing on what you do have can change your life in powerful ways.
Last year, my vision field results were better than the year before.
My life may be slower but it's never felt more balanced, joyful and fulfilling ❤️.
If you're reading this and having a rough time with a health condition, heartache, loss or major stress, know there is light at the end of the tunnel.
It might just be brighter and more sparkly than you imagine 🌟🌟.
Let's talk about REAL CONFIDENCE 🎤🔥🚀🎉

It's never too late to start 🔥.
That was one of many words of wisdom from the legend Mel Robbins who had us in stitches last night in Melbourne.
What a show 🌟.
There were so many experiences and wonderful pieces of advice she shared, but the most powerful messages came from her 27 year old daugther who she shared the stage with.
Her daughter, Sawyer, shared how her mother was hardly home as she was working hard to build her dream (and pay down debts). She said, because Mum followed her dream I knew I could too 🙌. That got me good.
For working mums and business women, mum guilt is a real drain 🥹.
I often feel guilty working nights and some weekends, but I just hope my young son sees it as inspiration and learns that with a little hard work, a whole lot of passion and a dose of courage, you can follow your dreams 🌟.
