Big Don unhappy with PerthNow over Big Cox pic 😮

The legend Big Don from Big Don's Smoked Meats has put a post up recently on his page where he was a tad annoyed with PerthNow for using an image of Fremantle Dockers Ruckman Mason Cox.

Some people had mixed opinions on this but it should be noted it does appear PerthNow is making money from the image as they send ppl interested in the story to a link which appears to have advertising on the link

Here is what Big Don said 👇

No one actually asked to use these photos from my social media, which is actually the law (below). In fact, in 2021 Urbanlist paid $1000 to Bushfire relief for doing the same thing. So let's do a f.....g sequel. 😂

I'll settle the matter for a $1000 donation to Starlight the children's charity, the same foundation benefiting from last Thursday's Dockers game goals.

Why do I care? Because old school media is a bit trashy. I don't mind an interview or chat, but I don't want my business being used for trash click bait on a quiet Sunday night. Asking before yanking someone's photos is basic journalistic decency you'd think.

So to the writer Zach Margolius, the editor Christopher Dore and even Kerry Stokes: pay up for charity ya f.......g. f....s.😂

It now appears PerthNow has blocked Big Don from commenting on their page. They have blocked Big Don

Big Don has sent Seven Media an invoice of $1000 which will go to Starlight Charity
