in a wild setting 🍃

For this collaborative shoot, I was wanting this bouquet to reflect the rugged wonder of Yellagonga Regional Park. Its tans, golds, greens and creams, and the relationship between grass, earth, tree and air.

We had another dress lined up, but at the last minute the designer for showed up with an array of dresses for me to select from. When I saw this feathered wonder I was like "WOW, we HAVE to shoot this dress with this bouquet in this wild park and it will be magical". Look at it isnt it an artform?

And yeah I think it we achieved our original objective, don't you?

In my opinion, it is the introduction of the element of the sublime.
And the removal of the commonplace.

Made by the human hand, not mass-produced, and is natural and raw.
Simplicity and refinement are at its core, as is a genuine beauty.
It fills to the very edges, not only of space but of the soul. And it can fully fill to its edges with a complete absence, generally of 'stuff'.

Sure it can be about money, and the 'best', but it doesn't have to be.
It can be about making a couple of very simple and elegant choices and removing all the clutter and noise, so the attention is allowed to fill the space with what we bring to it.
This is the ultimate in event luxury in my opinion. It's giving your guests a place to rest, view and engage, facilitating the place to allow all else to drift away.
