Strong community interest and impactful local ideas have marked the successful completion of our 2026 Community Grants Program.
This year, the program received 98 applications from metro and regional communities, with 17 organisations selected to receive a grant. The successful projects reflect the strength of grassroots initiatives focused on youth development, sport and recreation, health and wellbeing, cultural connection and social inclusion.
We congratulate all successful applicants and thank every organisation that applied for their dedication to strengthening local communities.
Details about the 2027 Community Grants Program intake will be shared on our website early next year.

In the lead up to National Volunteer Week (18–24 May), we’re proud to recognise our Arc Infrastructure volunteers who supported the Deadly Sista Girlz Netball Carnival.
Led by our Principal Partner, the Waalitj Foundation, the event brought together nearly 100 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls from metro and regional WA schools to connect, compete and grow through sport. Our team’s energy and enthusiasm contributed to make the day a positive and empowering experience for everyone involved.
Thank you to our people who used their Volunteer Leave to support opportunities that strengthen communities and engage young people.

Today our business marked an important milestone in our reconciliation journey with the launch of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
Our launch took place at Linear Park on Noongar land and brought together our people, partners, community representatives and cultural leaders to recognise and celebrate this next step for Arc.
We are proud of our growing partnerships with the Waalitj Foundation and the Clontarf Foundation which have supported cultural learning, Aboriginal employment, business capability development and local program delivery across the regions we operate in. We’d also like to recognise the contribution of Aboriginal businesses involved in producing our Innovate RAP, including Nani Creative and BlakLine Industries.
Today’s launch event was opened with an insightful Welcome to Country by Noongar Elder Uncle Len Yarran, followed by a cultural performance from the Goolamwiin dance group led by Helen Walley-Stack. Guests also had the opportunity to meet the artist who created our Innovate RAP artwork, Noongar Whadjuk and Ballardong artist Linda Lee Loo and enjoy catering by Bimba Foods , an Aboriginal-owned business led by emerging chef Daniel, a Badimaya, Yamatji, Whadjuk and Yued man.
