It’s been a while since I posted, as you can see, I did the Cape 2 Cape. It’s the 4th time I’ve done it and my best result so far. 54th overall and 21st in my category, I was hoping for a top 50 and top 20, but I’ll take it.

I then decided to take last week off to recover and reflect and I’ll share my thoughts on how it went and how I’ve gone from DNF 4 years ago to finishing where I did this time in 2022.

I put it all down to working smarter on and off the bike and following structure in my riding and a structured gym plan. The reason I think I didn’t quite make the top 50 is I think the competition was a lot higher this year when compared to last year. Last year W.A still had a strict border that put a lot of people off travelling and coming here. This year we had a lot more interstate and international riders which is great.

If people want to find out more, ask questions or what my strategy was then just send me a message and I’ll be happy to answer. In all honesty I don’t know who will even read down to hear, if you have leave a comment saying read. It’ll help when writing text in other posts.

Great having the very talented Bailey Christie pop in and have a mobility screen and strength test with us.
Already creating a name for himself in the mountain biking world at such a young age, he is destined for big things. His passion and willingness to work hard and do what it takes is great to see.
The strength testing gave him a good understanding of where his strength is currently at, and the difference between the right side Vs the left side of the body. Having this information and working on the imbalances will make him a stronger and more efficient rider.
Scary to think that he is only going to get better, stronger and faster.
Keep working hard.

Great ride 🚴 this morning, good getting out on some gravel and getting a longer ride in. It was only 5 degrees 🥶 this morning but you soon warm up with some of the hills 🏔 on this loop.
Anyone else want to share their ride.

We’re having our first social ride!!🚴‍♂️

13th June, meeting at Pedal Performance HQ at 6am 🏋️‍♂️
104 Walters Drive, Osborne Park 6017

This ride is for anyone wanting to get out on their bike in winter! You can be a beginer, experienced, fast, slow, on a road bike, MTB…it really doesn’t matter! We want to help people to start riding or to continue you to ride during the colder/darker mornings 🥶 It’ll go for an hour and will finish back at the gym, which more importantly has 3 coffee ☕️ shops near by 👍

It’s a great way to start the day and more importantly the week with like minded people who like to ride. If you plan on joining us, please bring your bike, helmet and lights 🙌
