Ustadha .maryam.sinclair invites you to join us tomorrow evening for our Eid Dinner and a special storytelling performance: “The Fall of the Tyrant” - the story of Musa (alayhis salam) and his people’s escape from Pharaoh.
Ustadha Maryam has spent over 40 years bringing the stories of the Prophets to life. Her work has been prepared with the scholarly insights of Shaykh Ali Hani, translated with the help of Shaykh Sohail Hanif, and encouraged by scholars including Shaykh Hamza Karamali, whose own children grew up listening to her stories.
The escape of Musa and his people from the tyrant is a lived experience that still reverberates in our world today. This performance invites young and old alike to reflect on how we stand up to the tyrants of our own times.
