Huge effort by the crew this past month!
166 concrete tilt panels completed in October alone — an awesome achievement that set us up to lift panels and get roof steel on throughout November.

A lot of moving parts, a lot of very early starts, and the team delivered.

Big thanks to the lads from Rigging for a smooth crane lift. We’re officially standing in a concrete jungle now.

Massive shoutout to Shane (Site Supervisor ) and the entire crew for driving the job forward while keeping quality and safety front and centre.

I am deeply honored and a bit overwhelmed to have been nominated and to win the Inspirational Volunteer Award today at the Citizenship Awards. I was invited to attend to support our amazing community, but to be recognised in front of such a wonderful group of people was truly humbling. I can’t help but feel like many of the other nominees were just as deserving of this award.

However, this recognition is a testament to the incredible work we’re all doing at the Swan View Football Club. A big thank you to Tony Cuccaro for the nomination and to the Mundaring Shire for their ongoing support. Together, we’re helping to engage and strengthen our community in meaningful ways.

I’ve always been an advocate not just for Swan View Football Club, but for all sporting clubs, regardless of the code. As long as we’re helping the community, we’re all making a real difference.

A huge thanks to my family for their unwavering support, even though they don’t see me as much as they should. It’s all worth it for the cause. And of course, I have to thank Jo and Paige for their tireless efforts to turn Brown Park into the community hub it truly deserves to be.

I’m truly humbled and grateful for this recognition, and I know this is just one part of the larger work we are all doing together. Let’s keep pushing to make our community even better. Thank you, everyone!
