Not sure what makes a good mosquito repellent?

Not all mosquito repellents are created equal. DEET and Picardin are the most effective ingredients for repelling mosquitoes that can transmit diseases like Ross River Virus and Barmah Forest Virus.

To get the most protection from mosquito repellent, apply it evenly to exposed skin and clothing. Be sure to reapply repellent every few hours, especially after swimming or sweating.
