💜 Meet Joey 💜
Looking for a little ray of goofy sunshine? Joey is a playful, quirky girl with a heart of gold! Rescued from bushland, she's blossomed into a sweet, affectionate kitten who loves to chase toys, wrestle with her feline friends, and keep an eye on whatever fun is happening nearby—she's definitely got a serious case of FOMO! 🐾
Joey can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a quiet space and a little patience, and her true personality shines. Once she trusts you, she'll happily come over for scritches, cuddles, and a good purr... which occasionally comes with the cutest little drool! 💕
She's incredibly social with other cats and would thrive in a home with a confident older feline buddy to play with and help her settle in. Joey is also quite the chatterbox, filling the house with adorable trills and chirps—it's no wonder her foster carer lovingly calls her "Cricket." 🦗

Playing or fighting? Sometimes it's genuinely hard to tell with cats, and you're not alone in wondering.
When cats are playing, here's what you'll often see:
✅ Both cats recover quickly after an intense moment
✅ The one being "chased" keeps coming back for more
✅ No one is hiding, fearful, or getting hurt
✅ Movement stays loose and reciprocal
When things tip into a real fight, the signals shift:
⚠️ One cat is pinned and can't move freely
⚠️ You see fear, hiding, or stress after the interaction
⚠️ Injuries appear, even minor ones
⚠️ The energy doesn't reset, tension lingers
Rule of thumb: if there is godawful screaming that causes everyone in the house to stop and stare, or if there is an aftermath of p*e, p**p, blood and/or fur - then, my friends, THAT'S A FIGHT! 🥊
Context matters far more than any single intense moment. A new introduction can look scarier than it actually is.
So here's my question for Team Cat Mojo: when you first brought two cats together, did you know which one it was pretty quickly, or did it take time to learn their language?
