In the world of Narcos, being a rat never ends well.
Eres una rata (confidente de la policía)
Eres muy rata (más agarrao que un chotis)
Well, this is a typical said from Madrid
El chotis es el baile típico, very tight...
It means to be stingy or cheap...
But relax
We are not talking about Narcos today.
We are talking about something even more dramatic:
A rat can start a pandemic.
Yes. One little rat. Tiny body. Big drama.
I saw this headline in Spanish:
"Doctores en Australia dicen que el Hantavirus se puede transmitir a través de flatulencias"
"Doctors in Australia say Hantavirus could be transmitted through flatulence."
In normal English:
A virus. From a rat. Through a fart.
Beautiful science.
Terrible marketing.
Muy mal todo
Pánico ON
The guy who posted it said:
"En la lápida la broma se hará realidad: por un p**o, aquí me veo"
"Now the tombstone joke will become real: 'I'm here because of a fart.'"
And honestly? Pura poesía
So yes, we're using this in class.
Because Spanish is not just "hola" and "me llamo Maria."
Spanish is news, drama, viruses, internet comments, rats, jokes, and people saying things they should maybe keep inside.
This week we'll talk about current news, health, animals, panic, and how to say
"Are you a rat?" in Spanish without getting into trouble.
Also, by popular vote...
I'm inviting native Spanish speakers too to the party, so we can practise with the real deal.
Real people. Real Spanglish. Real chaos.
Come in if you want to practise.
Español o inglés?
No rats allowed.
Spanish speakers? Absolutely.

Let’s be honest.
I’m not giving you that money.
But maybe I can save you from spending thousands
on language courses that don’t really help you speak.
Because you don’t need another course.
You need people.
Real people.
Native speakers.
A community.
A place where you can speak Spanglish badly… until you speak better.
That’s the idea behind the 30-Day Spanglish Challenge.
A Spanglish conversation challenge with real Spanish and English native speakers.
You practise Spanish.
They practise English.
Everybody helps everybody.
No magic method.
No fake fluency promises.
No “speak like a native in 3 months” fantasy.
Just real conversation.
With humans.
Porque el Engliñol no se colecciona.
El SpanEnglish se habla.

I won’t give you $1000
Obviously not.
But let’s be honest…
Sometimes we buy a Spanish course hoping it will magically make us speak like natives in 3 months.
And you know this is not how it works.
You don’t need another course.
You need people.
Real people.
Native speakers.
Conversation.
A community.
A place where you can speak, make mistakes, laugh, repeat, try again and not feel like a complete disaster.
That’s why I created the 30-Day Spanglish Challenge.
A Span-English conversation challenge with real Spanish and English native speakers.
You practise Spanish.
They practise English.
Everybody helps everybody.
Small groups.
Simple topics.
Spanglish allowed.
Grammar panic forbidden.
Because Spanish is not something you only study.
Spanish se habla.
I won’t give you $1000
But I will help you speak Spanglish with real people.

You don’t need more courses.
You need people.
Real people.
Because maybe you already know some Spanish.
You can read it.
You can understand a bit.
You have done apps, videos, podcasts, grammar…
But when you have to speak?
Your brain goes:
No estoy disponible.
That’s why I created a 30-day Spanish conversation challenge with real Spanish and English native speakers.
You practise Spanish.
They practise English.
Everybody helps everybody.
Small groups.
Simple topics.
Real conversation.
Zero grammar panic.
Stop studying Spanish alone.
Start speaking with humans.

You don’t need another Spanish course.
Seriously.
You don’t need another app.
You don’t need another list of verbs.
You don’t need another PDF that you will download, save,
(and never open again)
What you need is much simpler:
a community to speak.
With real people.
Seres humanos.
People like you.
People who also freeze when someone says:
“Hola, ¿qué tal?”
Ah, hola Pepe
People who also think:
“I understand Spanish… but I can’t speak.”
Comprendo, amigo
pero no hablo una p*ta mie*da
People who want to practise without feeling stupid, judged,
or like they are doing an oral exam in hell.
That’s why I created this 1-month Spanish challenge.
Every week you get:
A short video class with a story.
A very simple weekly reto.
And one live class in a small group, where we actually speak Spanish.
Not perfect Spanish.
Real Spanish.
To speak.
To listen.
To participate.
To start feeling that Spanish can be part of your real life.
