It was so lovely to photograph this family again just before they become a family of four.
I often look back on the time with just my eldest with such fondness. That’s not to say I didn’t love the baby stage with all my 3 or that I would rather not have them but that time with just one was just the sweetest of days. Worth photographing for sure.

Yesterday in Guildford was Sugar Gum Day. A celebration to remember that the community came together 25 years ago and saved Guildford’s 130 year old sugar gums from removal through direct action protest. I dressed one of the majestic trees up in florals to create a photobooth experience that shows off the beautiful patterned bark and massive width of the trunk.
Here’s some photos of people I love as well as some complete strangers using the Photo Booth. And the last photo is me 😊

Oh yes and the yellow ribbon is one of the original ribbons from 1999 that they tied around the trees to raise awareness for their plight.

When you say to your clients “there’s this wall I really like but it’s out behind the bottle shop in the car park. I’ve always wanted to take photos there.” And they don’t think you’re crazy they say ok!
