Dark Line on Your Nail? Don’t Ignore It.
It could be nothing, or it could be nail melanoma, a rare but serious form of skin cancer.

Warning signs to watch for:
• A dark stripe or streak (brown, black, or dark blue) on the nail
• Changes in size, shape, or color of the stripe
• Pigment spreading to the surrounding skin or cuticle
• Nail cracking, lifting, or bleeding
• A nail that doesn’t heal after trauma

Nail melanoma can affect anyone, even those with darker skin tones and is often misdiagnosed. Early detection is key.
