A friendly reminder that there will be NO Breakfast Club on Tuesday, 30 June, as it is the last week of term.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us throughout the term. It's been wonderful to see our school community come together each Tuesday morning over a hot breakfast, great conversations, and smiling faces.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We are excited to announce our upcoming Resilience Project Free Dress Day on the last day of term, Friday 3rd July!

Students are invited to dress up as their favourite GEM superhero:

🧡 Gratitude
💚 Empathy
💜 Mindfulness
❤️ Emotional Literacy

Students can come in a full costume or simply wear colours that represent their chosen superhero.

Throughout the day, students will also be encouraged to be their superhero by taking part in activities such as:

• joining a mindfulness meditation circle at recess or lunch,
• showing empathy and kindness to others,
• sharing statements of gratitude,

To participate, please bring a gold coin donation on the day.

Each class will nominate one student with the most creative and inspiring costume. These students will take part in a special group photo that will be proudly displayed in the office as our Carnaby Rise GEM Superheroes! 🏆

Thank you for supporting this fun and meaningful day as we continue building positive wellbeing and resilience in our students.

🎪 It's almost time for our Year 6 Market Stalls Day! 🎉

Join us on Thursday the 18th of June (Week 9) as our Year 6 students run their very own carnival-style stalls for students in Years 1–5!

This year it's all about fun, games, and prizes — think:
🏌️ Mini Putt
🏀 Basketball Shooting
🎳 Skee-ball
💍 Ring Toss
🎨 Face Painting

Prices range from just 50c to $5, so make sure your kids come with some small notes and a big smile! 😄

A timetable for each year group will be shared closer to the date. Stay tuned for stall locations too!

A friendly reminder to all families that Kindy 2027 applications close on Friday, 24 July 2026.

If you would like your child to be considered for our upcoming Kindy intake, please ensure your application is submitted before the closing date.

🌟 Kindy 2027 applications are open for children born between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023.
