Metropolitan Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service

When the fire is out and the summer is over, our job is still far from done. As firefighters we are also responsible for other duties such as attending community events and schools to help spread the knowledge of fire, how it works and what to do in emergencies.

Recently we had the opportunity to attend Carey Baptist College where we spent the afternoon teaching year 5’s all about firefighting! We think they had as much fun as we did 😂
