Congratulations to the Swick team on successfully mobilising to Bulgaria. With operations officially commencing in April, the team has already begun a re-entry program, made possible by the capability and versatility of the Swick rig.

This milestone marks another step forward in delivering safe, efficient, and high-performance drilling solutions across new regions. Well done to everyone involved in making this expansion a reality.

Meet Luke!

Five years ago, Luke joined the team as a "green" Offsider. Since then, he has worked across seven different sites, gaining his Cert 2 and 3 in diamond drilling and building serious confidence on the tools. Now a D2, he’s proud of his career progression and grateful for the support he's had along the way.

For Luke, Swick isn't just a place to work; it’s a culture he describes as supportive, family-oriented, and safe. His career has allowed him to chase life beyond the rig, including memorable travel adventures to Alaska and Europe.

His advice for anyone thinking of joining the team? "Hard work pays off - it’s not for the faint-hearted, but you’ll get the hang of it in no time!".
