As part of the Alkimos Pipeline Alliance's continued delivery of the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Program, the team is proud to be delivering the roof renewal project at the Wanneroo Reservoir as an additional scope of works.
Awarded in recognition of the Alliance's strong performance, this project involves replacing the eastern storage tank roof to ensure the long-term integrity and reliability of this critical water infrastructure asset.
Making the most of a tightly planned shutdown window, the team has successfully completed demolition works and has now progressed into the construction phase. With crews working across multiple fronts, the Alliance continues to safely and efficiently deliver both the 27.5 km pipeline and this additional infrastructure upgrade, demonstrating the capability, collaboration and commitment that underpin the project's success.

Today we farewelled one of DM Civil's longest-serving team members, Eddie Anderson.
Eddie first joined DM Civil in 1987 and, in true Eddie fashion, has been a familiar face on and off ever since, right through to 2026. Over the years, he has been known as a reliable all-rounder, always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. His flexibility, strong work ethic and genuine "can do" attitude have made him a valued member of the DM Civil family.
As you can see from his farewell gift, Eddie is a true DM Civil boomerang! So, while he's heading into retirement, we wouldn't be surprised if he finds his way back for the odd project when retirement starts to get a little too quiet.
On behalf of everyone at DM Civil, thank you, Eddie, for your many years of dedication, loyalty and service. We wish you a happy, healthy and well-earned retirement. Enjoy this next chapter, and thank you for everything you've contributed over the years. You'll always be part of the DM Civil family. All the best Eddie and thank for your service.
PROJECT DELIVERY | Point Samson Bridge - DN150 Water Main Replacement
As a Tier 1 Water Corporation contractor, DM Civil has delivered water infrastructure projects across Western Australia for five decades. This week, our regional north-west team, in partnership with VDE Engineering, successfully replaced a section of water main that provides the sole potable water supply to Point Samson.
The critical replacement section was suspended from Popes Nose Bridge on a series of steel outriggers, which also carried a communications network feed. Adding further complexity, an eleventh-hour direction required the replacement of the degraded outriggers themselves.
Our site team quickly designed the new brackets, which were fabricated locally in Karratha by our valued partners at VDE Engineering. Working within a limited traffic management window on the bridge, the combined team safely and seamlessly replaced the supports, ensuring uninterrupted water supply to the community.
This project is another example of planning, innovation and ex*****on under pressure, demonstrating the strength of local capability, engineering expertise and collaboration to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.
As DM Civil celebrates 50 years in business, projects such as this reflect the values that have underpinned our success for five decades — solving complex challenges, supporting regional communities and delivering critical infrastructure that Western Australians rely on every day.

Another Major Milestone Reached
Alkimos Pipeline Alliance was proud to welcome the Hon. Roger Cook MLA, Premier of Western Australia, the Hon. Don Punch MLA, Minister for Water, along with local Members of Parliament, to site to mark a significant achievement on the project.
With 50% of the pipeline installation now complete, the visit provided an opportunity to recognise the outstanding efforts of the project team and the progress being made on this critical piece of water infrastructure.
Milestones like this are only possible through the dedication, professionalism and commitment of our crews, subcontractors and project partners who continue to deliver safely and efficiently every day.
As we continue our 50th year of operations, we are proud to play a role in delivering infrastructure that supports the growth and future needs of Western Australian communities.
Congratulations to everyone involved. We look forward to celebrating the next milestone as works continue.

LEGACY PROJECT | Araluen Golf Course Estate
As part of the Araluen Golf Course Estate development in 1992, DM Civil, then trading as DM Drainage & Construction, delivered the Bevan Road Bridge across the Canning River.
At the time, the bridge provided the only access point for construction of the estate, making its completion critical to the progress of the project. Delivered within an accelerated 46-day construction programme, the works included in-situ reinforced concrete abutments, on-site precasting and installation of bridge beams, and the construction of a 200mm thick S50 class reinforced concrete deck.
Projects like the Bevan Road Bridge demonstrate the diverse capabilities that have been part of DM Civil's DNA since the early days. The successful delivery of this vital piece of infrastructure was a testament to the skill, determination and 'can-do' attitude of a young construction company building its reputation across Western Australia.
As we celebrate 50 years of DM Civil, we are proud to reflect on projects such as this that helped shape our journey and contributed to the growth of communities across the state.
