🎨 Art Jam: A high-energy, purely creative painting session where kids take the lead and lean into their own big ideas.
🦊 Mistake Maker: Drawing Real Life Animals: Our award-winning workshop (based on our 2026 Fringe Festival Children's Event Winner!). Kids draw real-life taxidermied animal specimens and learn to catch fixed-mindset thoughts.
👗 No-Sew Fashion: Upcycling at its finest! Kids get to design and create incredible new fashion pieces without needing a single stitch.
🎭 Kids Improv: Pure, collaborative fun that builds massive confidence, quick thinking, and a "can-do" attitude.

Looking for a calming, imaginative holiday workshop for your child? Welcome to Watercolor Worlds—a beautiful creative journey designed to switch on young imaginations at The Maker Space!
During this blissful 3-hour session, kids will explore the magical world of watercolors, learning playful techniques and experimenting with color mixing. They'll then design their own unique bugs—whether they are real or completely imagined!
Because we focus on the peaceful process of art rather than a rigid "copycat" template, children learn to relax, trust their instincts, and lean into their own unique ideas. It’s the perfect way to build confidence while refreshing a tired school-term brain! 🧠✨

🍔🧁 BIG NEWS: Baking Club is Returning to The Maker Space!
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome back the incredibly talented Baking Club to The Maker Space at Floreat Forum this July school holidays with two brand-new, delicious workshops!
Just like our art sessions, Baking Club isn't about making a "perfect," cookie-cutter replica. It’s a creative space where kids use simple sketching and pure imagination to design individual, edible masterpieces that are as unique as they are!
Here is what is on the menu for July:
🍔 Workshop 1: Burger Cookies! (Ages 7+)
Learn to roll, stick, and shape different textures to build your ultimate dream burger and fries—made entirely out of tasty cookies! Kids will take home their custom creations in a carry box.
Workshop 2: Woodland Cupcakes (Ages 8+)
Use fondant to sculpt adorable woodland animal faces while exploring proportions, color, and eye placement. Kids will master using a piping bag to swirl their buttercream before assembling their unique creatures to take home.
