🖤💛❤️ National Reconciliation Week at First Steps PreKindy ❤️💛🖤
This week at First Steps PreKindy, we are taking time to learn, reflect and celebrate the importance of Reconciliation Week through meaningful experiences and conversations with the children.
Together we are exploring:
🌿 caring for Country and our environment
🤝 kindness, respect and friendship
🐝 learning about nature, animals and the world around us
🖤💛❤️ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures
✨ understanding that we all belong and can make a difference
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we play, learn and grow, and pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
Through these experiences, we hope to help children build an understanding of caring for one another, caring for Country and appreciating the many stories and cultures that make up our community.
Together we can inspire our children to create a future built on respect, kindness and connection. 🌱

🐰🌿 Happy Easter and Happy End of Term 1 from First Steps PreKindy 🌿🐰

We have reached the end of Term 1!!!! We want to say a big thank you to our wonderful families and community for being part of the First Steps PreKindy journey this year.

It has been such a joy watching the children settle in, make new friendships, explore new experiences and grow in confidence each week.

With Easter just around the corner, we hope all of our families enjoy a lovely long weekend filled with special moments together. 🐣🌸

At First Steps PreKindy, we believe in supporting families wherever we can. For this reason, we do not charge families when we are closed for public holidays or scheduled service closures.

We know family budgets matter, and we feel it is important that families are not paying for days when the service is not operating.

Thank you again to our families and community for your ongoing support this term.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term of learning, play and friendships.
