This week at First Steps PreKindy, we are taking time to learn, reflect and celebrate the importance of Reconciliation Week through meaningful experiences and conversations with the children.
Together we are exploring:
🌿 caring for Country and our environment
🤝 kindness, respect and friendship
🐝 learning about nature, animals and the world around us
🖤💛❤️ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures
✨ understanding that we all belong and can make a difference
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we play, learn and grow, and pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
Through these experiences, we hope to help children build an understanding of caring for one another, caring for Country and appreciating the many stories and cultures that make up our community.
Together we can inspire our children to create a future built on respect, kindness and connection. 🌱
