🥓🍳 THE LONGEST WEEK EVER IS OVER... NETBALL IS BACK!

After one whole week without netball, we're finally back tomorrow!

That means:
✅ Netball is back
✅ Friends are back
✅ Early mornings are back
✅ And most importantly... Karen is back on the BBQ

Fresh bacon & egg burgers will be ready to fuel players, coaches, umpires and supporters..

Get in early before they disappear!

While many are enjoying a sleep in this weekend, some of our rising stars of the Association will be up early and ready to compete at the 2026 Association Championships at the Gold Netball Centre.

A huge good luck to all of our players, coaches, umpires and support staff representing the club across the weekend. Your hard work, commitment and team spirit have already made us proud.

Play hard, support each other and enjoy every moment out on court.

🚨 GENERAL BYE WEEK 🚨

No games this week… that’s right ... no early alarms, no rushing out the door, and no sideline stress 😅

Consider it a well-earned weekend off to rest those legs, recharge, and maybe even enjoy watching netball from the couch for once 👀

We’ll see everyone back on court next week, refreshed and ready to go 💪

Behind every great association is someone keeping everything running behind the scenes, and for us, that’s Amanda Hughes 💛

Is Amanda a paid employee? Yes.
Does she go above and beyond every single week, and volunteer her time outside her paid role? Also yes.

If you’ve ever had a curly question, needed help with PlayHQ, been unsure where to go, or just needed someone to jump in and sort things out… chances are Amanda has been there to help.

Her smiling face, calm approach, endless patience, and willingness to step in wherever needed are a huge part of what keeps our netball community connected and running smoothly.

The truth is, associations don’t thrive without people like Amanda. The behind the scenes work often goes unnoticed, but it makes all the difference for players, families, volunteers, and clubs alike.

Thank you Amanda, for everything you do for our community, we’d truly be lost without our PlayHQ guru
