You would be shocked by the number of people that tell me I must love playing with flowers for a living! 💐
Floristry is sooo much more than that though 💁 I've made this little pie chart to show you just how much goes into one floral job 😲
I also forgot to put in their emailing and my absolute favourite thing (definitely sarcasm there) is social media 😂
Arranging florals is such a small part of the process of wedding flowers! You'd be surprised to know that quoting, cleaning and prepping take up the majority of my time 🙈
I just ask that you remember this when you question why your florals are costing you an 'arm and a leg'! There's more to it than just wholesale costs involved.

About us!
Here's a little bit about me, Katie, the founder and owner of Primrose Delight. I always knew that weddings interested me, remembering back to high school one of my big dreams was to move to the outskirts of New York, own a BnB on acreage and run weddings there! But It was at the end of 2017 is when I seriously considered event planning as a career option. With the encouragement of my husband I finally took the plunge into small business ownership in Early 2018.
My background is building props and scenery for theatre, receiving a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Production and Design through Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. I was running the bump ins (set up) for large theatre shows, managing multiple groups of people to make sure the show would go smoothly & on time for opening.
I am one of those crazy people who loves getting creative, yet planning and logistics make me thrive! These are all aspects that I could see would make a perfect wedding planner.
My creative background has helped so many of my clients! From creating dried petal confetti to making wooden backdrops, managing end to end event planning & tricky wedding budgets & spreadsheets... my aim is to help my clients achieve the most EPIC wedding they could imagine!
