HELLLO!! 😍

It’s been a while and I’ve seen a few new faces on here so I thought it was time I re-introduced myself.

My name is Rachael and I am the face behind Lush Glow Co 🤗

I own and operate a beautiful and cosy home salon in Perth, WA.

I have been in the beauty industry for 8 and a half years now, starting out with my first makeup course at the Perth College of Beauty Therapy in 2015 (last photo for evidence 😂). I then did another course in makeup after that which also included hairstyling and spray tanning, followed by courses for lash extensions, brows, bb glow, lash lifts and brow lamination. I now focus on bridal and event makeup, brow waxing/lamination and lash lifts ✨

Here’s a few things about me:

❤️ I married my best friend in February 2023 at Brookleigh Estate, Swan Valley. Brides doing a DIY wedding, I see you, and I feel you! Haha.

🐾 I have 2 fur children, Nora, 5 and Romeo, 3. They are genetically both French bulldogs, however I struggle to see them as anything but actual toddlers.

💄 I work at Mecca part-time, and don’t know if I could ever give it up. I absolutely love working there, seeing my Mecca fam and staying in the know with the newest and best skincare and makeup!

📚 I am studying a Bachelor of Psychology part time, however have had the last 12 months off. Still unsure where I want this to take me (it’ll be a long road), but I find human behaviour SO interesting and it can be applied to many careers (even the beauty industry!)

🧠 I was diagnosed with ADHD about 12 months ago, and it made a lot of things make so much sense! I have always been a perfectionist and high achiever with slight OCD tendencies, and have to have colour-coded systems or lists for everything (brides, this is why I have a colour-coded time schedule for your wedding morning haha). I also have a million ideas but struggle to action them! For example, my socials 😂 But I’m working on it!
