Situated on a large open site in the Perth hills, this residential compound has sheltered courtyard spaces providing shade, natural light to the interiors and direct sun to these interior spaces in winter. A standout design feature is the skillion roof line. This roof design allowed for high level windows to capture northern sun in winter and provided natural light and ventilation into the interiors of the building.
