Make sure you’ve read all event rules, information are familiar with the course map to make sure you have a smooth swim on the day!

Swimming caps and timing bands will be issued at registration and must be worn.
All buoys must be kept on your left hand side.
All swimwear must be FINA compliant.

ENTRY FEES

Monday 1 December – Friday 5 December
$40 – Under 18 years old
$50 – 18 years and older

Online registration closes 10:00am Friday 5 December 2025 (the day before the event).

All entry fees are non-refundable.

ENTRY ON THE DAY is subject to availability. Entries are filling up and if we reach capacity prior to Saturday we will be closing registrations!

RACE START TIMES

10:00am – Registration opens
Collect any pre-ordered merchandise when you check-in.

11:15am – Registration closes

11:20am – RIA Address and Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony

11:30am – Swim briefing commences
All swimmers must be on the beach near the start line to allow the briefing to commence on time.

11:45am – 500m Swim
500m Swim will start all at once.
Starting waves may be used depending on the number of entries.

12:00pm – 1600m Swim
Colour coded caps issued at Registration will determine your starting position.
Swimmers will start in 3 minute interval waves and only one colour swim cap will be allowed in the water at any one time.

1:00pm – Presentations - presentations are eld at the Race Area immediately after the event to allow plenty of time for those catching afternoon ferries.
