Alright, first day back in the workshop. I'll bring you up to speed.
The hunter is up to 1500grit on main bevels and the clip is upto 200p grit and is now more or less ready for guard fit up.
The Bowie has only the top clip finished at 1200 grit so has a lot of work still left.
I've turned the meteorite pommel nut to rough dimensions and threaded. The 3rd knife is going to be a guardless bowie with keyhole style meteorite bolsters on a tapered tang. As you can see that knife is still bar stock.
Ill start on the main bevels on the large Bowie today as there's a lot of hand sanding to come.
Cheers

Hope everyone has had a great Christmas.
I've been away from knife making for a couple of months for various reasons and other projects. But I'm back onto it now.
This will be a 3 blade set from RWL34 stainless with meterorite fittings and black curly birch handles, complete with a one off custom display case and leather work.
The set is what I'll use for my final grading exam into the Australian knife makers guild. Its going to be a complex build and will take me sometime to finish but I'm hoping to push myself to create something very unique.

Anybody got any hints or tips for drilling meterorite 🤷‍♂️
