Royal Park Residence: a minimalist apartment in Sofia

Minimalism is synonymous with simplicity and elegance, and that's what we have made clear by the creators of the project presented today at Inalcotrends .The Bulgarian studio Proconcept has designed this sophisticated apartment in The Royal Park Residence in Boyana, one of the most luxurious districts of Sofia

The main objective of the project was to create a spacious and delightful home combining various functionalities in a contemporary set. The colour scheme of white and black throughout the residence creates visual boundaries between zones. Light and dark surfaces alternate to highlight planes and volumes, and mirrors strategically placed on the ceiling multiply that effect, illuminating the space and making it appear larger.

With the separation of the rooms, there was a need for an elegant floor that unites all the areas in a complete and perfect set. That is why the MD i Iseo surface by Inalco was chosen. A design that sums up the charm and variety of nature and fuses it with the most current style.

The entire composition of the apartment was intended to give the impression of infinity and fluidity with separate functional areas that smoothly complement each other. Each element of the home is carefully selected to appear as a natural and logical extension of the interior and thus contribute to the creation of a refined and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

In short, Proconcept Studio has been responsible for creating a harmonious and aesthetic space to satisfy the needs of its clients.

WhiteRock Villa Monterey in Ibiza, a dream interior design

Patrick Helou Architects´s interior design is characterised by simplicity and a major use of white in all ambients, conveying a sense of purity that reminds us of Mykonos architecture and faithfully reflecting the Mediterranean essence. The MDi Touché collection by Inalco, with its high-end marble-effect design on a super white canvas, becomes the main protagonist of all the rooms and unifies the spaces.

When designing the villas, a key element was to connect all the rooms to their natural surroundings, creating spacious, open and contemporary villas in which nature flows through every corner. The Mdi Touché provides continuity as it was used as the general flooring of the entire complex, both indoors and out, and also as the steps in the huge central living room of the main villa, for creating a tailor-made bathroom basins and furniture, and for decorating walls of bedrooms and other spaces.

Connecting with the latest trends in architecture and interior design, Patrick Helou Architects uses the Black & White style as the decorative link among all spaces, and complements it with the warmth of natural wood in the bedrooms. The MDi Storm collection used in bathrooms and hallways, and the MDi Azalai in the kitchen and selected elements such as the fireplace provide a touch of class and distinction.

WhiteRock Villa Monterey offers impeccable design and state-of-the-art comfort that can only be compared to 5-star superior boutique hotels, creating a unique sensory experience where you can disconnect and enjoy both nature and the different elements it offers its guests, such as a private gym, tennis court and even an exclusive disco to make your stay a dream come true.

Refurbishment with Petra, a natural choice.

In one of the finest residential developments In Madrid, Leticia Llanso and Irene Brea from the Essencia Arquitectura team have managed to breath new life into a property thanks to the refined elegance of the MDi Petra collection by Inalco.

The Essencia Arquitectura project brought the maximum [possible amount of natural light into the house thanks to the installation of large windows, while keeping a constant backdrop of natural vegetation. The two unusual lightwells have been renovated to their very best advantage. The central location of the first one has been used to imbue the whole house with increased light. The second one, next to the main bathroom, has been fitted with big lights that have transformed it into a ‘light sculpture’ according to architects Llanso and Brea.

The use of the Petra collection for the interior flooring has been extended outside, creating an unbroken continuum between the two spaces. The optimal technical features, non-slip finish and tremendous resistance to impacts and varying weather conditions made the MDi by Inalco the perfect material for this project.

The architects took advantage of the versatility of the Petra collection, with its natural textural quality and different thickness options, to decorate other areas in the house such as the kitchen. A notable feature of the bathroom is the uniformity of the wall and flooring material and the furnishings ,made exclusively for this renovation, featuring countertops in Petra iTop 12mm and front panels in Petra Fronts 4mm.
