We're Closed for the Easter Long Weekend 🐰
Time to put our feet up and enjoy some well-deserved rest! We'll be closed from Friday, 3rd April and back in action Tuesday, 7th April.

From Farm to Cup:
Just like coffee, cocoa beans go through a meticulous process. Grown in the shade-loving tropics, cocoa pods are harvested at peak ripeness, opened to separate the seeds and pulp, then fermented and dried. The result? Deep, complex flavour that makes every sip (or bake) special.
Our cocoa comes from smallholder farmers who plant on 1-3 hectares of land, bringing the same care and attention to their craft as our coffee growers.

Farewell to Our Café Manager, Kahlia 💙
It's bittersweet to say goodbye to someone who's brought so much to our team.
Kahlia's passion for coffee and community has been infectious from day one. She brought fresh energy, new perspectives, and a thoughtful approach that elevated everything we do. Whether it was quietly organising behind the scenes, supporting the team, or sharing her vision for what specialty coffee could be — she made us better.
Her care for the people around her, her attention to detail, and her genuine love for this industry have left a lasting mark on Leaf Bean Machine.
We're sad to see her go, but we know she'll be exceptional wherever her next chapter takes her. Kahlia, thank you for everything you've given us. You'll always be part of the LBM family.

This March, we partnered with our neighbours Mala Yoga to bring our community together in a meaningful way. Coffee and yoga share something special — both invite us to pause, be present, and savour the moment. Sip, Stretch, & Strengthen. We hope you enjoyed what we brought to you this month.
We also hosted our very first filter brewing competition – The Karvan Cup. What an incredible night! We're so grateful for this journey and to everyone who made it happen. Watching passionate brewers bring our coffee to life reminded us why we love what we do.
And finally, the moment you've all been waiting for — our Easter Giveaway! We can't wait to announce our winner and see someone take home almost $3,000 worth of coffee goodies.
