Produced by the Dusangirijambo Cooperative on Maruri Hill in Burundi’s Kayanza Province, this lot showcases everything we love about the region. Delicate fruit, tea-like elegance and refined sweetness come together in a cup that is clean, balanced and effortlessly enjoyable.

Introducing Calvin’s Birthday Coffee 🎂

At Offshoot, every team member gets the chance to feature a special birthday coffee each year. A coffee that means something to them personally. A coffee they’d happily brew for friends, family and fellow coffee lovers.

This year, Calvin is kicking things off with a producer whose coffees have inspired him for years.

If you’ve spent any time around the roastery, you’ve probably heard Calvin talk about Diego’s coffees. The precision. The florals. The clarity. The way they manage to be wildly expressive while remaining incredibly clean and balanced.

For his birthday coffee, Calvin chose our very first lot from Diego Bermudez’s renowned El Paraiso farm in Colombia.

And honestly, it’s everything he hoped it would be.

Expect vibrant Osmanthus florals, delicate Peach Oolong sweetness and bright Tangelo citrus, all wrapped together in a silky, elegant cup that showcases just how refined thermal shock processing can be.

No overwhelming funk. No chaos.
Just beautifully controlled flavour and clarity.
