Celebrating Rath Yatra đ
May the divine journey of Bhagwan Jagannath inspire us to move through life with faith, humility, and compassion. Just as the sacred chariot carries Bhagwan through the streets, may this festival remind us to keep Bhagwan and the Guru at the centre of our lives, allowing their guidance to shape every step we take on our spiritual journey.
Starting life in any new place can feel overwhelming, but for many, the mandir become more than a place of worship, it becomes a family.
During the opening of the new mandir in Gold Coast last year, Bhajini reflects on her journey pursuing her career, and the home she found away from home.
Australia is a nation shaped by many cultures and shared values of respect, kindness and understanding.
BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is grateful to call Australia home. Guided by the teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the lived values of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, BAPS is a spiritual and volunteer-led community rooted in responsibility, compassion and service.
Across Australia, BAPS mandirs and centres provide spaces for reflection, connection and community. Through volunteer service, cultural programs and support across all stages of life, BAPS strives to contribute positively to the wider Australian community.

From ancient hymns to sacred scriptures, Sanskrit carries the essence of Hindu culture, history, and spirituality. More than just words, it connects us to divine wisdom and eternal truths.
Inspired by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, we strive to preserve this sacred language and its rich traditions through the practice of mukhpath, verbal recital.

Hindus believe God is present in every corner of the universe, but a Murti provides a focal point, helping the devotee turn their mind away from the material world and towards the divine.
Every act of volunteering, however small, connects us to one another and to something larger than ourselves. We are grateful for the hands that show up quietly, again and again, asking for nothing in return across communities.

Happy International Day of Yoga! đ§ââď¸Â
The word Yoga itself means âunion.â For us, it represents the alignment of our actions, our thoughts, and our devotion toward Bhagwan. Itâs a discipline that started thousands of years ago, taught by the ancient rushis to help us still the mind so we can finally hear the soul.Â
Whether itâs through a moment of meditation or the service we do for others, letâs take a moment to slow our minds and connect with the peace around us.Â

Pramukh Varni Din commemorates the day Shastriji Maharaj appointed Pramukh Swami Maharaj as the President of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.Â
When the young Pramukh Swami Maharaj was entrusted with the administrative leadership of the Sanstha by his guru, Shastriji Maharaj, he vowed to dedicate the rest of his life to its service.Â
From that day forward, whether washing dishes, writing letters, or travelling to meet devotees, he lived by the principle of âin the joy others, lies our ownâ.Â
76 years later, the impact of his life, leadership, and selfless service continues to inspire and uplift countless people around the world.Â

We were honoured to welcome the Honourable Milton Dick MP, Speaker of the Australian Parliament, and Minister Anne Aly MP to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Perth, for a special Civics Education Program.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our mandir, engage with our children, youths and families, and share valuable insights into Australiaâs democratic and parliamentary system. The interactive discussion provided a unique opportunity for attendees to learn more about civic participation and public service.
