We've all survived to the end of the year. It's been a tough one for sure, but let's end it with a bang! As a club, we've come a long way from where we were at the start of the year, all thanks to the awesome committee, and all our wonderful members.

Yesterday, our Aviators visited Perth's Royal Flying Doctors base at Jandakot Airport!

√ Learned the history behind the formation of the RFDS.
√ Saw RFDS' fleet of PC-12, PC-24, and EC-145 upclose.
√ Talked to maintenance engineers about the aircraft.
√ Learned what it takes to work at the RFDS.
√ Stopped by RACWA Apron Café for lunch afterward!

✈️ Last Friday, our Aviators had an awesome time at the RAAFA Aviation Heritage Museum!

💥We got face-to-face, up close and personal with the fearsome F/A 18 Hornet, GR4 Panavia Tornado, Avro Lancaster bomber, and many others.
💥We got to explore inside the last RAAF-owned DC-3/C-47, narrated by a former DC-3 pilot who was luckily present that day!
💥Some of us got to bring home books and trinkets from the shop too... 🤭

Thank you to Remie and the kind staff who facilitated the tour and visit as a whole, we'll be sure to drop in again next time 😁
