Our Story

MKDC is an agile design practise who over the past 27 years have built up a reputable name synonymous with integrity and quality service. Our Directors in partnership have developed a diverse, skilled and vibrant team where expertise and personalities collectively form a holistic studio culture.

The MKDC studio is one that buzzes with energy, ensuring deep dive thinking and reflection allowing our creative ideas to advance. This culture and approach drives our projects, hand in hand with our clients, into uncharted territories of design excellence and innovation.

Our strength is our ability to connect with people. We collaborate and connect with our clients and project partners to form creative inspired outcomes. We balance this with our business acumen in project design and delivery. This acumen is a result of our broad experience and MKDC have a refined methodology, from project concept and strategic feasibility reporting, to detailed design and coordination. The studio works across a range of portfolios inclusive of Corporate Workspace, Aged Care and Retirement, Healthcare, Education and Multi Residential.

MKDC have multiple award-winning projects. Directors Kath Kusinski and Melanie Marshall, won the coveted Crystal Vision Award presented by NAWIC for advancing the interests of women in the construction industry.
