Over the past 18 -months, a meaningful partnership has been growing between the Cockburn Mental Health team and our neighbours at the Fremantle Dockers AFL Women’s team 🤝

What began as early conversations has developed into a connection grounded in shared values, community spirit and a commitment to wellbeing.

Recently, Dockers AFLW players joined women in our service for a collaborative activity session - creating a welcoming space for shared connection, creativity, and community.

This partnership highlights the important role that community plays in mental health, fostering connection, building confidence and a sense of belonging 💜

Rockingham General Hospitals’ Surgical Co-Director, Dr Dominik Stepien and wife Emmy, recently welcomed their baby girl into the world 👶

Baby Eleanora arrived at 8.18pm on Thursday 28 May – the same day the hospital turned 50!

In a touching tribute to the occasion, mum and dad chose a name with a special connection to the hospital, inspired by Elanora – the name of both the surrounding street and onsite café.
