Rain tried to stop it. Didn't work.
The Balga Skatepark Competition was postponed and came back with a vengeance. Clear skies, a packed park, families going all out in the crowd and some of the most memorable moments of the season across BMX, scooter, skateboard, rollerskate and inline.
Tahn Crawford threw the biggest air over the gap of the day in inline. Joel Weller made the trip up from Albany and delivered a WOW moment on the down ledge that had both MCs speechless. Garnet Rock won BMX intermediate for the second comp in a row. Theo Bourgeois podiumed in both scooter and BMX on the same day. And Joe Bell took out skate open with a 50/50 down the hubba that had everyone watching.
That's Balga. That's why we keep coming back.
