We're inviting WA-based creative practitioners to establish the design narrative and themes for the redevelopment of Kwinana City Centre. This is a genuine seat at the table: artists will be embedded in the process from day one, shaping how the precinct looks, feels and functions.

Who we're forming:
A collaborative team of five; three artists, one design assist expert, and one cultural knowledge holder, working together through strategy and co-design.

How it unfolds:
An intensive on-site Creative Strategy workshop in June 2026 sets the agenda. From there, the team moves into a co-design phase to develop integrated concepts for the precinct.

The fee:
$5,000 for the strategy and co-design phases, with additional NAVA-aligned commissioning fees for concepts selected for fabrication.

We're particularly interested in creatives with ties to Kwinana or the south metropolitan corridor, but all WA-based artists with a collaborative, community-engaged practice are encouraged to apply.

📅 EOI closes 5pm Tuesday 12 May 2026

Public Art Opportunities | Lot 19 Perth City Link Student Accommodation

FORM invites artists and creative practitioners to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for two public art opportunities at Lot 19 Perth City Link, a landmark student accommodation development positioned between Perth CBD and Northbridge.

We're seeking bold, innovative proposals that explore light, digital media and integrated technologies. The development sits on Whadjuk Noongar Country within one of Western Australia's most transformative urban renewal precincts, a site shaped by layers of history from ancient wetland to rail yard to vibrant city precinct, now emerging alongside the new ECU City Campus.

We encourage ideas that create a compelling day-to-night presence and respond to the energy, movement and connectivity of this city-based student precinct. This is an opportunity to create ambitious, iconic work that establishes a distinctive landmark within the heart of the city.

The Opportunities

Opportunity 1: Suspended Sculptural Artwork, Internal Lobby Budget: $240,000 ex GST
Opportunity 2: Integrated Soffit Artwork, Roe Street to Queen Street Budget: $930,000 ex GST

Artists may apply for one or both opportunities.

EOI Deadline: Monday, 13 April 2026

For more details and to submit your EOI, contact FORM's Arts and Cultural Consultancy team on (08) 9385 2200 or at [email protected]

Please feel free to forward this opportunity to your networks.
