A number of process to reprofile this knife to its former glory including the use of steel putty to plug the bolster.
As good as new and less than a fraction of the cost of a new knife.

99% True. However, I don't recommend sharpening your knives if you do not know how. You will damage the knife more or worse require medical attention.
