Such disappointing news for the Australian horse community π’
Like so many West Australians, the Hoofbeats team always looked forward to making the trip east for EQUITANA. It was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends, learn something new, discover the latest products and be immersed in all things horse. The flights home were often filled with WA horse people and bags stuffed with equestrian gear after a few days of shopping!
We've loved covering the event for Hoofbeats readers over the years and will be very sorry to see this chapter come to an end. We'll certainly miss it.
Important update for EQUITANA Melbourne β€οΈ

Weβre sure many of you will remember Laurie Lever from his years in WA. Weβre looking forward to tuning in to tonightβs show π
π΄ Tonight on Talking Horses ποΈ
Olympian. Coach. Australian showjumping legend.
Tonight we're delighted to welcome Laurie Lever to the show.
A lifelong contributor to the sport, Laurie has spent decades helping shape Australian showjumping. In 2008, at the age of 60, he made his Olympic debut for Australia at the Beijing Games, where he and Ashleigh Drossel Dan helped the Australian team finish seventh.
From his early days in Western Australia and involvement in the iconic Bond Showjumping Series, to training riders around the world and producing Olympic horses from the ground up, Laurie has a wealth of stories and experience to share.
This is an interview you won't want to miss!
Tune in live to 91.3 SportFM from 6pm tonight as we chat with Laurie on Talking Horses. π§
